The wedding committee assists brides and their families with this special event by offering guidance in proper etiquette and procedures concerning weddings at St. Mary's. The committee is trained to answer questions that the bride might have as to the options available concerning placement of flowers, usage of church facilities, candles, photography in the church, etc. Directing the rehearsal and organizing the wedding party for the wedding are the committee's prime responsibilities. At least two members of the committee are present at the rehearsal and act as directors on the day of the wedding. The committee was established about ten years ago, and at present there are seven active members who are called upon regularly. Weddings are such memorable occasions, and committee members enjoy participating at such happy and exciting times!
